In Ucraft, it's possible to add a system of filters for products to your pages. For this you will need to use the Product Filter.
To add or remove filter types, simply click on 'Edit eCommerce Filters'.
The Product Filter allows you to add a box where users can filter the products based on:
Show only products that are available in stock. You can manage your stock by going to Dashboard → eCommerce App → Products → Edit Product → Stock Control
- On Sale
Show only products that are on sale. You can manage that by going to Dashboard → eCommerce App → Products → Edit Product → Price → "Compare to" price
Filter products by their UPC. It is a default attribute which you can edit by going to Dashboard → eCommerce App → Products → Edit Product → Attributes → UPC
Filter products by their Brand. It is a default attribute which you can edit by going to Dashboard → eCommerce App → Products → Edit Product → Attributes → Brand
Filter products by their Options. To add/remove options simply go to Dashboard > eCommerce App → Products → Edit Product → Options
This feature is particularly important because it allows you to create your personal filters, for example filter products by their color, size, material, etc...
Keep in mind that this is just a filter box, therefore you need to use the Products element as well, so that the filter results are displayed. Both Products Filter and Products elements have to be in the same block.
In Advanced settings there is an option called 'Show Product Count' which allows to enable/disable the text which shows the number of products that match your filters.
In addition, you can edit the Style of the filter box by clicking on 'Edit Styles', which allows you to manage the Colors, Size and Fonts.
Make sure to use this element wisely as it can become a useful tool to further improve your customers experience as well as increase the sales on your store!
